Nestled on the Southern Highway in Golden Stream village, Belize, Ya’axché’s nursery plays a vital role in the region’s conservation efforts. Established to support agroforestry practices, the nursery cultivates a diverse range of top-quality, organic seedlings – both grafted and non-grafted. Through the work of Ya’axché Conservation Trust, the nursery supports farmers with seedlings to establish climate-smart agroforestry plantations, as well as reforestation efforts within the Maya Golden Landscape (MGL). This not only promotes sustainable livelihoods but also fosters healthier ecosystems.

With a capacity of 55,000 seedlings, Ya’axché’s impact extends far beyond individual farmers. They actively partner with local schools, fostering environmental education and inspiring students through tree-planting missions. The nursery also welcomes partnerships with individuals and organizations across Belize who share their vision of sustainable livelihoods.
